Let’s break right to the chase — nearly all of you reading this are probably guilty of the very same mistake … and no need to feel guilty about it, but I’m pretty sure you will notice how obvious it is.

I would say at least 90% of the pitches I see are entirely focused on pitching a product — simple as that. But the thing is, they are missing a vital part. A pitch is not just about the product, but also about the ability to execute.

So you need to understand that you aren’t just pitching your skill to build an amazing product, but you also have to pitch your skill to build an amazing company. Now if you look at your deck and your narrative I am pretty sure you are nearly entirely focussing on the product. Yep, got you!
